नीतीश राज का वित्तीय कुप्रबंधन उजागर, अब तक 20 फीसदी राशि ही खर्च

पटना। सीएजी की रिपोर्ट ने बिहार की एनडीए सरकार के वित्तीय कुप्रबंधन को उजागर करते हुए बताया है कि आधा दर्जन विभागों में वित्तीय गड़बडिय़ां हुई हैं। यह जानकार हैरानी होगी कि कोसी पुनर्वास के लिए अब तक 20 फीसदी राशि ही खर्च हो सकी है। 2008 में कुसहा तटबंध के टूटने के बाद उत्तर बिहार में जलप्रलय की स्थिति पैदा हो गयी थी। विधान सभा में प्रतिपक्ष के नेता अब्दुल बारी सिद्दीकी ने विभिन्न विभागों में हुई वित्तीय गड़बडिय़ों की जांच सीबीआई से कराने की मांग की।

Bihar sets aside Rs.300 crore for power line for farmers

Patna, April 1 (IANS) In welcome news for millions of farms in power-starved Bihar, the state government has sanctioned Rs.300 crore for a dedicated feeder line for agriculture, officials said Monday.



The state cabinet late Sunday approved the amount, an official in the chief minister's office said. "This is a first-of-its-kind dedicated feeder line to provide electricity to farmers in Bihar," he said.

Railways are soft target in Bihar

Patna: The railways have become a soft target in Bihar. Almost every protest seems to be affecting railway property resulting in huge losses to the nation. In the process, as many as 2,374 train services were affected in the last six months, officials say.

Bihar does India proud: Record output in potato

Patna, Feb 18: Bihar's farmers have done it again. A farmer from Sohdih village of Bihar's Nalanda district has set a new world record in potato production through organic farming this year.

The potato farmer, Rakesh Kumar, has harvested 108.8 tonnes of potato per hecrtare and set a new world record in potato production, Nalanda district magistrate Sanjay Kumar Agrawal said Monday.

Bihar emerging as hotspot of foreign tourists

PATNA: With one out of six foreign tourists heading towards Bihar to visit the historical sites, the state has become a favourite to the tourists from abroad.

बिहार में दस हजार सूचना आवेदनों को बिना सूचना दिये निबटा दिया गया। दो सौ से अधिक आवेदकों को सूचना मांगने के चलते प्रताड़ना झेलनी पड़ रही है। करीब 50 मामलों पर गृह विभाग जांच कर रहा है। 54 मामले तो ऐसे है जिसमें मानवाधिकार आयोग को हस्तक्षेप करना पड़ा। हाल यह है कि कांग्रेस के महासचिव दिग्विजय सिंह को मनरेगा में आर्थिक गड़बड़ी के बारे में सूचना नहीं मिल पा रही है।

Steel company ISPAT Industries Limited's (IIL) diary entry shows that the company has paid off 2.2 crores to government officials. The entries of the payments suggested kickbacks. Several government departments were listed as beneficiaries to huge amounts of money.

देश में सबसे ज्यादा बेरोजगारी बिहार में

तमाम प्रयासों के बावजूद एससी-एसटी के सरकारी पद खाली रह जाते हैं। यह चिंता का विषय है। किसी भी राज्य में बेहतर तरीके से रोजगार उपलब्ध कराने के लिए बेरोजगारों के सही आंकड़े उपलब्ध होना आवश्यक है।

Bihar registers highest growth rate of 16.71 percent

Bihar recorded its highest growth rate of 16.71 percent during 2011-2012 thanks to a record in foodgrain production, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said Tuesday.
